Toronto Seminar & New Jersey Workshop

Just returned from a whirlwind tour of Toronto and New Jersey.

In Toronto I gave a seminar on behalf of WEVA International at the PMA Expo. It was entitled “Wedding Videography: Creativity That Sells”. Had a great time, and the Canadians were extremely hospitable. Toronto’s premier videographer, David Lai from Visions By David, and his lovely wife Marianne showed me around the beautiful city.

On to New Jersey, where the NYPVA hosted my all-day workshop. Kathy and Al Ritondo went above and beyond the call of duty and ensured a full house with standing room only. The East Coast attendees were wonderful, and we had a phenomenal day of sharing and learning.

Emmy Awards 2007 Governors Ball

Fantastic, unbelievable night!

Not typically star struck, i am reeling from videotaping such an onslaught of fine TV celebrities. Seeing my faves Keiffer Sutherland and Jeremy Piven in the flesh, certainly brought a smile to my face. Sequoia Productions once again did an amazing job of putting together this 3000 guest party. Music was provided by none other than Mr. Tony Bennett. We were indeed honored to have been chosen to capture this truly extraordinary event.
Thank you to Ari Perilstein who did a splendid job running second camera.

Bryan’s Bar Mitzvah

September 15th, 2007

Bryan read from the Torah at the Wilshire Boulevard Temple. In the evening the party celebrations took off at Hillcrest Country Club. The theme was Roller coasters, and we put together a concept video for Bryan, featuring Fred Willard and his genius brand of comedy.
The event was planned by good friend Debbie Powell of Hold The Date. Photographs were taken by Cindy Gold and Claudia Wong. Entertainment was provided by Percy from Feet First Entertainment.

Mazel Tov to Bryan and his entire family.

Alan’s Bar Mitzvah

September 2nd, 2007
The LA Zoo

Unusual, but nonetheless very cool, location for a party. John Solano provided his photography skills and the DJ was H2H. The party was non stop dancing from start to finish, and everyone had an amazing time. The Event Planner Amy Zelinsky, from AtoZ Special Events, did a phenomenal job especially as she was brought in last minute. Congratulations and Mazel Tov to Alan and his wonderful family.
