We were honored with the task of creating a movie trailer for this weeks episode of TNT’s “Wedding Day”.

    Michelle and Roy

Michelle and Roy continuously give their time and energy to help improve the lives of others. They work for a nonprofit community outreach and opportunity center, mentoring, tutoring, instructing and assisting at-risk youth. The spotlight is now on them with a Hollywood wedding that begins with a specially created movie trailer by david robin | films, detailing their love story and climaxes with a silver screen wedding at the Park Plaza Hotel.

Here is the trailer we created:

    Great Music Video Shoot

LOCATION: The Complex Studios (tv station KJLA)
I was bestowed the honor of directing two music videos for long time friend and artist Jack Bielan. With a small crew, 2x Sony EX1’s, 1x Canon 5DII and a 9ft jib, we assembled together some of Los Angeles best session musicians. The results were some great performances of Jack’s inspirational music eternally recorded in the digital HD world. I will be sure to post the completed video’s as soon as they are edited.

This just in from the artist:

After recuperating from yesterday, I couldn’t fail to let another moment go by without thanking you.
You are a real, true pro, David. I’m in awe of your knowledge and your artistry, and the best call I made on this whole thing was the one I made to get you involved.
Thank you for your insight and your way-the-hell-above-and-beyond patience with me. Thank you for the musicality with which you planned and executed this, and for your vision.
Sometimes when we’ve know our friends for a long time, some of the big picture of who they actually are gets by us. After seeing you in action on Thursday, it’s now far more clear to me: you’re the real deal, Dave – a true, actual genius at what you do.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    Jack
