Animal House Theme. This was such a fun party.
Spencer has one of the best personalities of any Bar Mitzvah boy i have filmed. Once again the phenomenal Julia Hewitt produced the event!

This Photo Montage (i think our best yet) for our B’nai Mitzvah client, was inspired by the Beatles, and the “Love” show.
My digital artist Luis spent nine weeks of his life bringing this to life. Working closely with Luis I came up with different themes and concepts for each song I wanted to use. Choosing the right music was easy – I used all my personal favorite Beatles tunes!
Slowly it all took shape. However, running out of time we brought in our second digital artist Matt, who in one weekend created the Strawberry Fields/Across the Universe section. Amazing!
“Are your still breathing? Because my dearest friend….I am not.
David you have just taken my breath away….completely. And, I thought “Entourage” was over the top. Now, here I am with my jaw on the ground. I cannot believe what I just watched…and am about to watch again…and again. Your photo montage masterpiece with the Beatles score is absolutely beyond belief. It is, without a doubt, THE most phenomenal montage artistry I have ever seen anywhere, anytime …. on video, TV, movies…anywhere! Every second of this montage is a talking point in itself. You have not only reinvented Yourself ….you have reinvented the whole entire genre of “photo montage” pure and simple. And they said it couldn’t be done. I am just stunned. This work needs to be transferred to ultra hi-res because there is really only one proper way to watch it… on the movie screen. That is where it belongs!!”
WOW, thank you Mr. Chapman!
The biggest challenge was using all 150 photos and home movie clips in a ten minute time frame. I think we succeeded! Hope you like it. Please leave feedback.
This fabulous event was put together by Heidi and Carol at King Dahl Event Design at the Westlake Hyatt. They did an amazing job! My good buddy Stuart Townsley took the photographs, and Billy from H2H rocked the house as usual. Can this guy ever NOT rock the house? Don’t think so.
I have to tell you though, this family were great. Kathryn (mom) is so warm and kind, it made it a joy to work for her. With clients like these, you just want to go above and beyond. Thank you so much. It was truly a pleasure!
This was a truly fabulous event. Kehillat Israel in the Palisades, and the exquisite Beverly Hills Hotel were the locations for this Simcha. My long time friend and associate Brian Hodes, was the photographer, and Along Came Mary’s Mary Micucci was the Event Planner. Jim Eppolito, from West Coast Music, out did himself with the entertaiment. Not being able to be there myself, i entrusted the filming to none other than internationally renowned, multi-award winning David Hohenthaner, from VHVideo in Tampa, Florida. I flew him in especially to shoot this. As Emily’s Dad is the President of Paramount Pictures, you don’t want to mess around. My other favorite cameraman, the ever fantastic Ari Perilstein, shot 2nd Unit.
