The most important film in my possession is my parents wedding film. Shot in the 1950′s on 8mm and 16mm film. To see my parents, young and vibrant, my grandparents alive, smiling and exuberant, is completely priceless to me. This film is more important than any photograph, any wedding dress, any amount of excessively expensive centerpieces.

And now in the 21st Century we are able to create films akin to Hollywood movies, in HD, with 35mm lenses, and audiophile sound. How can such a priceless service be so undervalued (by some) in our society?

If visibility at the event is a concern, a great “event filmmaker” is unobtrusive, and never makes you feel like you (or your guests) are on camera.

Make the event | film your top priority. In a few short years you will understand (if you don’t already).

wedding | films and event | films typically start around $3999, and progress from there depending on options.

david robin | films is unlike most “videography” companies. We are, first and foremost, “Event Filmmakers”. Rather than simply document the event, we create a cinematic experience for the viewer. We believe that a well made event | film, whether it be a wedding, bar mitzvah, anniversary or conceptual montage, should stand the test of time, and be as important, fresh and relevant to the audience 50 years from now. Just like my parent’s old wedding film.

That is our goal.
