The wedding took place at a beautiful location in Beverly Hills, and my team and i were there to create cinematic magic.

The event producer, Carl Bendix from Jupiter/Ambrosia, built the couples’ perfect dream wedding. The decor was stunning! I am only hoping that at some point i can share some of the wedding | film with you.
Musical quests who performed included Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Natalie Cole, Kenny G, Neil Sedaka, Peter Certera, Babyface and a cavalcade of others. Quests included Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Streisand, Steve Wynn, and the list goes on.

I truly feel honored that such high profile clients, and event planners trust my team and i to capture these memories, and look forward to the next adventure!

They called it “THE NEW GOLD STANDARD IN WEDDING VIDEO”.

So very cool!

Here is the video we shot for David Foster’s bride Yolanda. We showed it at their wedding on 11.11.11, and was a complete surprise to David. He did not even know that she could sing! The joke here is that David REALLY, really wants a private jet!!! We also motion tracked a fake logo on the side of the jet. David was BLOWN away!

The ball was the first stop on the night’s party circuit for many guests, who walked from the Nokia Theatre across the street to the Convention Center.
The football field-sized ballroom was decorated to the theme of “Starry, Starry Night,” with thousands of tiny mirror balls dangling from the ceiling. A 565-pound disco ball encased in a glittering sun sculpture hung above the musicians, while giant glowing spheres representing each sign of the zodiac circled the dance floor.

Partygoers dined on dungeness crab salad, rack of lamb with dried fruit crumble and dark chocolate decadence with smoked fleur de sel on a chewy fudge brownie. They washed it down with 4,416 bottles of red and white wine, champagne, and vodka cocktails.

Among the 3,600 celebrities and other invitees dining in close quarters were the cast of Glee, the cast of Madmen, Wanda Sykes, Lily Tomlin, John Lithgow, Glenn Close and daughter Annie Starke, and Rainn Wilson of “The Office.”
Emily Deschanel of “Bones” walked into the vast space with a cell phone clamped to her ear as the Valli Boys sang “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” from high atop a podium above the Impluse Orchestra.
The musicians played such classics as “Route 66″ and “Girl From Ipanema” during dinner, then gave way to current hits “Poker Face” and “I Gotta Feeling” that drew several partygoers to the circular dance floor surrounding the orchestra.

Phenomenal event and very excited to be a part of it!!!!

It features some of the best event filmmakers in the business, and the message is powerful!!!

Jay is always trying something new too. Always has the coolest, latest lens or gadget. We go to lunch a lot and brainstorm many new ideas on how to improve, or offer innovative new concepts to our clients. One day one of them will hit big, and we will both be rich and famous.

Jay also has the hippest studio (see below). He takes all of my head shots, and without fail makes me look better than i really am. I love that!

Jay is also a master of diversification. Fine Art, Photojournalism, Advertising and Editorial, Wedding & Bar Mitzvah. He is equally comfortable in any photographic environment. I think this is quite rare! Anyway, check him out and see for yourself.

Then its off on the Eurostar Train, through the Chunnel and back to London.

Nicole and Ben get married on December 12th at the Park Lane Hotel, Piccadilly. Helping me film the event are none other than Sylvia and Niels from Ever After Video Productions, the best event filmmakers in the UK! I am honored to have them aboard.

I am very much looking forward to spending time with all my old friends and family.

UPDATE 12/15/09
Getting ready to leave London. Very sad to say goodbye, as I had such an amazing time. My family were so much fun to be around and treated my wife and I like celebrities. Nicole and Ben’s wedding was stunning, and although I worked really hard capturing the magic, i had a wonderful time. It was a bit of a surreal experience shooting, as 1/2 of the guests were my close relatives and friends. Thank god I had the amazing team of Sylvia and Niels from Ever After to help out. They did such a great job, and worked so hard, driving all the way down from Sheffield in the ‘orrible English traffic.

Special surprise was visit from Andre Foster. I looked up and saw him shooting on the dance floor. He had come straight from his own wedding in Croydon to help out. Pleasure to see him and honored he would do such a thing. The photos were taken by my lovely sweet friend Sharon Green and then Jamie Gordon. It was also a pleasure to meet and work with Jamie. He was so gracious and obliging, as I knew four event filmmakers on the dance floor at one time must have been really hard for him to get around and shoot.
