This list presents the 25 hottest and most influential event filmmaking studios in the world as elected by the readers of EventDV Magazine and EventDV.net. The new all-star team will be presented over the course of 4 days–February 22-25, 2010–on EventDV-TV.
This is the fifth consecutive year david has made this prestigious list.

2010 Oscar® Governors Ball

david robin | films is pleased to announce that we will be returning to document the 2010 Oscar® Governors Ball. This will be our fourth year recording the event. The Governors Ball will be held at the Grand Ballroom on the top level of the Hollywood & Highland Center in downtown Hollywood. The theme this year will boast 1930’s club with a modern twist. Academy Award winners will be invited to enter a specially designed area where Academy technicians will affix the personalized nameplates to each Oscar. In the past, winners had to bring their Oscars to the Academy in the weeks following the ceremony to have their nameplates affixed to the statuettes.

On November 18, 2009, two generations of friends gathered at the legendary Westlake Recording Studios in Hollywood to create a very special tribute to the extraordinary Powell Family.

Screened before a sold-out crowd at JVS’ Annual Gala on January 30, 2010, the video kicked off the presentation of JVS’ prestigious Lifetime of Service Awards to Joyce and Larry & Debbie and Rick Powell.

This mini documentary contains the behind-the-scenes Story Behind The Song and the music video We Love The Powells.
